Key Account Manager NAFTA Daimler Commercial Vehicles

We are looking for a new colleague in the Key Account Management Department. The position holder is preferably located close to Daimler Commercial Vehicle (CV) headquarters in Portland, Oregon.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing ZF’s Commercial Vehicle Technology Division (Division T) business for customer, Daimler Commercial Vehicle (CV) in North America
  • Manage the full ZF Division T portfolio (Chassis, Electronics, Driveline) and serve as key contact for customer, Daimler CV organization in North America
  • Support and implement long-term business strategies to achieve the ZF Division T short-term and long-term goals with the Daimler CV account
  • Develop and implement regional sales and marketing strategies for the Daimler CV account in North America
  • Define and realize customer targets according to strategic and operative business planning
  • Responsible for customer relationship management across customer organization levels including coordination, preparation and execution of customer meetings and events
  • Prepare offers and negotiate commercial agreements for the product portfolio

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience in the Commercial Vehicle or Automotive industries
  • Experience in customer account management with major global OEMs
  • Professional in Commercial Vehicle Technology products and sales know-how
  • Proven success achieving business development in regards to sales and profitable growth, ideally including experience in selling Commercial Vehicle products
  • Highly self-motivated with strong management, leadership and relationship building skills
  • Excellent analytical abilities and a structured, process-oriented working method
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a global organization, managing multiple projects and competing priorities
  • This position will be located close to key customer contacts and decision makers; some domestic travel required
