POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Development Specialist has the North Americal regional responsibility for Commercial vehicle drive line systems which includes automatic transmissions, ePowertrain systems, ePowertrain components and independent front suspension for OEMs and NACs manufacturing HD pickup Truck (class 3 -6) and Truck (class 4 – 8) as well as School and City buses (class 7 – 8).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain existing and establish new successful relationships with customers and key decision-makers seeking out additional driveline businesses opportunities
- Business Developer is responsible to present ZF new technologies in details
- Conduct market analysis (North America market map) to guide business development strategies and product competitive analysis identifying and evaluating competitive product
- Monitor, research, and predict customer needs
- Identify new business opportunities and implement new strategies consistent with business unit short- & long-term goals. Examine risks and potentials for the business opportunities
- Support North America sales, fleet sales and marketing activities when necessary
- Support sales organization by providing sales data, market trends, account analyses, new product information
- Initiate and support existing end customer / fleet activities to promote market pressure accelerating product releases and sales
- Coordination, preparation and execution of customer meetings and events
- Attend industry functions, including conferences and association events, and contribute information and feedback on upcoming market trends
- Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships. Discover and explores business opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business discipline
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the North America Commercial Vehicle and Heavy Duty pickup truck market
- Excellent, demonstrated presentation, organizational, and communical skills are necessary. Strong, confident public speaking skills are critical.
- Experience ni discreet customer account management and interdisciplinary project management
- Experience wth North America OEM and end-customer sales
- Professional experience in drivetrain technology products and sales know-how (conventional transmission and ePowertrain
- Ability to fequently travel domestically , up to 50% of the time is required
