Sr. Purchasing Specialist

About The Team

We are looking for a Senior Purchasing Specialist with deep understand of the automotive electronics market, to support our Division Aftermarket at our location of Kunshan, Suzhou, China.

What you can look forward to as Senior Purchasing Specialist - Electronics:

• Support to implement a supplier strategy with the target to optimize the local supplier base - to meet the needs of the global and regional locations of ZF Services. Facilitate the timely resolutions of issues regarding pricing, quality, sourcing, delivery, and vendor performance with suppliers and other personnel as directed. Search for suitable suppliers based on continuous monitoring and analysis of the procurement markets. Support ZF Services Best Cost Sourcing activities in the AP region.
• Lead sourcing and price negotiations for internal/external products, project purchasing activities and project coordination. In addition, negotiate and coordinate frame contracts to secure the supply of products and services. Maintenance and control of purchasing records and documents.
• Supplier Management: a). Support the yearly supplier assessment and evaluation process. Derivate improvement measures and follow-up with supplier accordingly. b). Support the target agreement with suppliers as well as their continuous optimization of the inbound delivery performance (DPI). c). Build up a trust-based relationship and continuously maintenance of contacts within the supplier- and ZF Services network in order to guarantee a smooth interface management. Participate in regional and global projects to introduce or expand the product portfolio. d). Support the supplier selection and contract awarding process in accordance with the ZF Friedrichshafen AG regulations.
• Reporting: Support the continuous analysis of the purchase reporting.

Your Profile as Senior Purchasing Specialist - Electronics:

• More than 5 years' work experience in the field of purchase and project management in the automotive part manufacturing market or relevant.
• Associates degree and above, with major in engineering, automation, or other scientific curriculums.
• Fluent English and Mandarin in both written and oral. Skilled of operaing related ERP or Purchasing Systems.
• Good knowledge & solid experiences in purchase processes and project management.
• Solid experience in sourcing and contract/price negotiations.
