Purchasing Specialist

About the Team

We are looking for a new colleague who will join our purchasing Excellence team located in Kunshan, Suzhou.

What you can look forward to as Purchasing Specialist:

• Maintain and manage Vendor Master Data in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies.
• Create, update, and maintain Purchasing Master Data, including price lists and item master records within ERP systems.
• Conduct Purchasing Price Inquiries, perform price comparison and cost analysis, and ensure timely updates of purchasing prices in the system.
• Support daily Purchasing Operations, including lead time coordination, Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) and Minimum Shipment Value (MSV) verification, and Country of Origin (COO) validation.
• Drive process optimization and Digitalization by leveraging automation solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy of daily operational purchasing tasks within ERP platforms (e.g. NAV 2016, SAP).
• Perform Data Analysis & Reporting to support purchasing decisions, improve data quality, and enhance supply chain transparency.

Your Profile as Purchasing Specialist:

• Bachelor degree. Familiar with purchasing processes, including pricing structures, vendor master data and so on.
• Strong data accuracy and detail orientation, with the ability to manage large volumes of data while maintaining high quality standards.
• Good analytical skills, capable of performing price comparisons, basic cost analysis, and data reporting to support purchasing decisions.
• Experience or strong interest in process improvement and digitalization/automation, with the ability to identify efficiency opportunities in operational purchasing tasks.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, able to work effectively with internal stakeholders such as purchasing, pricing, supply chain, finance, and IT teams.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, to support documentation and cross-functional communication.
