About The Team

We are looking for a new colleague - Product Engineer for Commercial Vehicles parts development at our Division Aftermarket at our location of Kunshan, Jiangsu, China. 

What you can look forward to as Product Engineer - Commercial Vehicles:

• The Jobholder will be responsible for the development and release one or some of the Commercial Vehicle air braking parts, such as Air compresser/DDSB CAM/Foot brake valve/Air Tubes and air braking related components.
• In this role the Jobholder will be responsible for product drawing/measurement/testing, product validation and release.In line with the specification, archiving the documentation and technical communication with the product suppliers/internal colleagues.
• Be responsible for developing product for APAC. (Drawing checking/sample measurement/test & validation/release documents preparation/PEDA release in PIMS system), Review/Approve Engineering change request or Supplier drawing change, ensure ZF requirements are strictly followed.
• Tracking all of the open issues from the Design Review, updating project status and sharing within the project team regularly. Follow up the completion of corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to sales/quality/CM/purchase. Support the supplier process improvement if requried. 

Your Profile as Product Engineer - Commercial Vehicles:

• Bachelor’s degree in process/product engineering, or manufacturing, technical background. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering is preferred. Has knowledge on Microsoft Office. Good in both written and oral English, Chinese. 
• Has Product Development Engineering experiences and PFMEA knowledge. Has understanding of Drawings & Measuring instruments. Experienced in Engineering/Process/Quality function required, at least 3 years of experience in Automotive Industry.
• Strong Product & Manufacturing Process Knowledge of Mechanical/Plastics/Rubber/Oil Components etc. Has Commercial Vehicle air braking related Product or Process Technique knowledge is preferred.
• Excellent team player, has cross functional working experience and good communication skills. Helpful and sociable with teamwork spirit.
• Be able to support 15% or above travelling.
