Senior Mechanical Designer

About the Team

We are Division Commercial Vehicle Solutions, we are currently expanding our R&D team across China and looking for new colleagues who will join our team in Jinan.

What you can look forward to as a Senior Mechanical Designer:

• Assess customer & legal requirements, in identification of gaps and in translation into technical requirements 

• Plan mechanical design tasks and support lead engineer in calculating development cost and timing

• Develop product concepts according to technical requirements and field experience

• Evaluate different concepts (own, competitors, suppliers) to find best cost option using DFA & 6sigma methods 

• Consider design rules & standards, foster standardization

Your Profile as a Senior Mechanical Designer:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Product Engineering in the automotive industry

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, etc

• Good knowledge about CV brake products

• Fluent English
