Project Buyer

About the Team

We are looking for a motivated Program Purchasing Buyer to join our Material Management team in Jinan. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to support program sourcing, cost optimization and successful project delivery for Chassis solutions.

What you can look forward to as Program Purchasing Buyer:

• Take ownership of program purchasing activities for vehicle dynamics products, ECU semi-conductor localization through project execution.
• Drive components sourcing in line with ZF program purchasing processes, ensuring timely delivery while meeting cost, quality and CQA targets.
• Partner with ZF Commodity teams to support PPV achievement and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, including PM and SDE, to ensure supplier-related deliverables are achieved on schedule.
• Work with the VAVE team to contribute to savings initiatives and KPI achievement.
• Coordinate with suppliers on sample development, procurement activities and issue follow-up throughout the program lifecycle.

Your Profile as Program Purchasing Buyer:

• Relevant experience in program purchasing, procurement or supplier management; experience with ZF program purchasing processes is a plus.
• Good understanding of vehicle dynamics products.
• Familiarity with ZF GDPEP and change management processes would be an advantage.
• Strong business mindset with good awareness of savings, VAVE opportunities and risk management.
• Good English communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• A proactive team player who is self-motivated, eager to learn and comfortable working in a cross-functional environment.
