About the Team

We are Division Commercial Vehicle Solutions (CVS), we are currently expanding our Production teams across China and looking for new colleagues to join us in Jinan.

What you can look forward to as a Production Unit Supervisor:

• Leading daily “Gemba agenda”, “Go & See” , “Go and touch”
• Leadership of the production staff in the team (process – technical – safety - behavior): Technical, Process, Disciplinary
• The 1st contact person for any prod. issues & people issue.
• Lead, manage, coach, mentor and develop production unit leadership with passion to ensure that a diverse result-orientated organization is in place and is cascaded throughout the production unit by empowerment, clear accountability, and compliance according to the ZF Way
• Audit and comply with Work instructions, Standard work (LPA)
• Allocate resources (man, machine, and material) to implement to production plan.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to achieve the KPI’s target of the production unit.
• Facilitate Lean Kaizen per ZF Production System

Your profile as a Production Unit Supervisor:

• Lean Management, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
• 5+ years solid working experience in Operations
• 2+ years leadership experience
• Transformation competence and organizational development skills
• Coaching and Mentoring Skills
• Assess skills (incl. technical, process and leadership skills)
• Business / Finance Management Acumen, Results-oriented
• In Dept- Knowledge in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Production
