Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Quality Engineer to join our Quality team with Division Commercial Vehicle Solution in Jinan.

 

Your tasks:

• Act as the link between ZF and customer for all quality relative topics, and responsible for customer satisfaction of quality aspect. Brings clear VoC regarding quality to all internal stakeholders and functions and ensures it is well understood internally and react back to customer properly.

• Active management of 0-KM claim handling by providing clear initial information, e.g. 5W2H, failure pictures and other relative information, monitoring and driving internal stakeholders to complete the problem solving process in time.

• Support field claim handling based on data analysis and co-work with field quality to do deep analysis on field returns, and drive for the final result and corrective actions either in management or technical aspect.

• Claim settlements (incl. 0-km & field warranty data analysis, refund plan based on solid evidence, negotiation plan makes up and leading the implementation).Strategy and Evaluation for/in Contract Management (CSR‘s (Q-part) + Warranty/Service Agreements).

• Anticipate escalations by continuous Quality performance tracking and by fast reaction. Resolve escalations by clear definition of Quality exit criteria at earliest opportunity and lead activities for Quality de-escalation.

• Driving continuously improvement of overall quality performance at internal & external customer.

 

Your profile:

• Minimum 5 years work experience in Quality.

• Degree in Engineering (mechanical and/or electronic essential). Experience in global automotive suppliers is preferred.

• Skilled in advanced product quality planning, quality tools such as PPAP, SPC, MAS, FMEA. Experienced in problem solving and continuous improvements tools: 8D,5-Why, DOE, Red X and Six Sigma experience (GB preferred).

• Excellent commercial vehicle control /automotive product knowledge. Good communication skills and negotiation skills.

• Intimate customer knowledge. Local language & English.
