Test Engineer

About the Team

We are Division Commercial Vehicle Solutions, we are currently expanding our R&D team across China and looking for new colleagues to join us in Jiaxing.

What you can look forward to as a Test Engineer (Device Qualification Engineer):

• Responsible to fulfill test plan and to qualify devices according to specifications - Assesse customer test requirements, analyze the design, define verification tests and simulations, including reliability verification, support D-FMEA activities
• Develop test concepts and test specifications, plan, design & document test equipment, coordinate production and approve test equipment, plan floor space
• Maintain test rigs and equipment, build time and cost plan for prototypes and series product testing
• Create control plan for prototypes & coordinate assembly, check prototypes to control plan and document results in IRP
• Instruct supporting personnel (e.g. Mechanics)
• Supervise tests according to plan, document test results in test reports, evaluate test results against functional, quality and reliability requirements
• Support design engineers in generating ideas for design improvements, support creation of series documentation (product specification, test instruction), support analysis of claims

Your Profile as a Test Engineer (Device Qualification Engineer):

• Minimum 3 years of experience in device qualification/testing in the automotive industry
• Degree in Engineering
• Experience in device test
• Fluent in English
• Literate in MS Office, Labview/DIADEM/CANalyzer experience is advantage
• Literate in measurement systems and pneumatics
• Key Performance Indicators: Delivery of test reports on time and in budget; First time right, means no test repetition due to improper test equipment or execution; Utilization of test rigs
