About the Team

Driveline Components serves customers in APAC with superior Driveline Component Solutions. This comprises Clutch & Actuation Systems, Transmission Control Systems and Auxiliaries for commercial vehicle industry and special applications. Our product: AMT controller, Clutch, ConAct, Torsional Damper, Releaser, PCA, MC/CS, PPV, PTO, Air compressor clutch, AxMaster. R&D team for driveline components in APAC cover the function of EPM, Customer Application, MD, SQ,DQ, FUSA, System, function safety, delivering advanced, eco-friendly powertrain solutions that cater to the evolving needs of our APAC clientele.

What you can look forward to as Mechanical Designer

• Support lead engineer in assessing customer & legal requirements, in identification of gaps and in translation into technical requirements
• Plan mechanical design tasks and support lead engineer in calculating development cost and timing
• Develop product concepts according to technical requirements and field experience
• Evaluate different concepts (own, competitors, suppliers) to find best cost option using DFA & 6sigma methods
• Consider design rules & standards, foster standardization
• Incorporate technical calculations and simulations as well as test results in the design
• Define materials and production processes for new components in alignment with experts
• Perform & maintain Design FMEA, risk assessment, define SC, CC

Your Profile as Mechanical Designer

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Engineering in the automotive industry
• Degree in Engineering，knowledge of CAD & PLM systems
• Fluent in English
• Literate in FMEA systematic and tools
