Electromechanical Designer-Cable

About the Team

We are Division Commercial Vehicle Solutions, we are now expanding our R&D team and looking for new colleagues to join us in Jiaxing.

What you can look forward to as an Electromechanical Designer-Cable:

• Leading a multi-domain project team through all project phases, from first idea to series production
• Ensure planning and execution of all engineering related tasks along the ZF-CVS product development process
• Responsible for meeting project goals in terms of time, cost and quality
• Define the validation plan, review and approve the test result
• Problem solving for design review, test failure, field claim
• Process expert to improve supplier production capability including cable localization, injection, over molding, stamping, press fit pin etc
• Collaboration with local engineering teams, global Cable & ECU housing design teams
• Other tasks arranged by line manager

Your Profile as an Electromechanical Designer-Cable :

• Degree in engineering, material forming, etc. especially with focus on automotive engineering, mechatronics
  Solid experience in complex Cable harness, ECU housing, connection system, press fit pin design and process
• Experience in Cable harness, ECU housing, connection technology test and trouble shooting
• Good command in English (written and verbal)
• Beneficial is to have knowledge in 3D CAD system (Creo), PLM and PTC requirements management
• Details to this Job Role will be provided with the roll-out of the global job architecture
