Customer Application Engineer-Clutch

About the Team

• Clutch and actuation system, Torsional Damper application projects for Commercial/AG/Industrial vehicles
• Customer application - contact window for OEMs, to support OEM to develop driveline system on vehicle level 

What you can look forward to as a Customer Application Engineer:

• Definition of customer specifications of ZF clutch and actuation system, torsional damper system and ZF German department
• Define project schedule for prototype and serial production together with customer and corresponding department
• Work together with product owner to prepare and create new BOMs for new applications
• Installation check, trouble shooting and vehicle integration at OEMs
• Change management which contains internal and external change request, leading customer release topics

Your Profile as a Customer Application Engineer:

• Bachelor above in Automotive Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
• Fluent English in oral and writing
• Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills; optimistic, outgoing, proactive, and adept at building relationships with a keen sense for identifying and pursuing opportunities.
• Experience in direct customer-facing roles or close collaboration with sales departments; some experience in project cost analysis or quotation is a plus.
• 3 years of experience in powertrain system application, knowledge of powertrain NVH is a plus
• Good communication skills, independent work with customers and other department
• Ownership without excuses, result delivery
