Tasks:
- Generation and development of technical cost savings ideas through various activity types (Design Reviews/DtC & DfM Analysis/in- & external deep dive Workshops/Benchmarking etc.) for one of the following technology Clusters:
- Iron & Aluminum Castings + Machining
- Electromechanical Assemblies
- Detailed assessment & coordination of idea development related to technical/commercial feasibility (business cases) with x-functional teams
- Preparation of calculations/presentations and further data to support business decisions and obtain Management approvals
- Track detailed status, monitor development & implementation progress for multiple parallel projects, proposing mitigation plans in case of deviations/roadblocks and assure necessary escalations w/ Top Management
Profile:
- Technical background, Master of Science degree in Mechanical/Process Engineering or comparable
- Deep knowledge about design rules, technology requirements, manufacturing processes & state of the art production facilities across the globe for one of the a.m. technology clusters
- Strong moderation, communication and matrix skills with team spirit
- Deep knowledge of domain specific state of the art Design/FEM/Simulation Tools & Databases (Catia/Magma/Windchill) + Microsoft Office
- Global thinking, results oriented, advanced organizational skills including attention to details
- Ability and willingness to work under pressure (deadlines, balancing)
- Good English skills for an international environment (EU, NA, AP). German skills are a big advantage
- Driving license B, ability and willingness to travel
