The System Element Developer is the role that physically realizes the system element as per the architectural design specifications. The element may either be a single product (a part or a component) or a composite product (subassembly).
General Tasks

Understanding the design specifications and physical construction of the element (e.g. fabrication in hardware/ coding in software)

Ensuring that the realized physical element conforms to the design specifications

Perform stand alone tests and conform compliance with the supply agreements

Cooperate during integration of elements in the next hierarchical level

The Vehicle Calibration Engineer is responsible to trim the vehicle performance to fulfil to customer targets and legal requirements
- Commissioning of vehicle by integrating SW/HW/Sensors and other system elements in the vehicle or vehicle simulation environment
- Perform calibration/trimming of various features and functions
- Specify and release calibration/trimming as agreed with the customer
- Request SW/Feature Changes if required
- Run system development tests to prove requirements fulfillment
- Liaise with customers vehicle application team
- Advise customers in trimming
- Documentation of Test Results and Trim Manual
- Support in FMEA, FTA and FuSi relevant work packages
Your profile:
-
Engineering degree in applied sciences (mechanical, electrical/electronics, informatics, controls)
- Understanding of SCS or other electromechanical systems at vehicle level
- Driving and vehicle evaluation skills
- Good English an international environment, German skills are a big advantage
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
