Simulation Development Engineer (m/w/d)

Your tasks

  • Development, Maintenance and Support of the ADTC2-Simulation Environments including models of brake systems and vehicle
  • Generation of simulation models in different formats (e.g. FMU) and different abstraction levels (ROM-Reduced Order Modelling)
  • Application of various XiL-Simulation and Development-Tools, e.g. dSPACE -SystemDesk, -VEOS, -ControlDesk, -BusManager and the underlying modelling environments MATLAB, SIMULINK etc.
  • Concept development and implementation of a new SiL / MiL –  platform  solution to facilitate PC-based closed-loop simulation of plant models, virtual controller models (vECU) and its communication (sensors; CAN/FlexRay)
  • Collaboration with different S/W-development departments to ensure a seamless integration of an automatically generated vECU [“Virtual Software Build & Integration Process - VSBIP] 
  • Collaboration with internal and external development teams (international) in the areas of “Model Based Design“, „Automated Continuous Testing“, etc.
  • Development and Documentation of processes for virtual Release & Test as part of a ADTC2 quality initiative [ASPICE & ISO26262]

 

Your profile

  • Master’s degree / PhD in engineering (automotive, electrical, mechanical, mechatronical) or in computer science/physics
  • Very good knowledge in model development and experiences in application of numerical methodologies specifically in real time environments 
  • Very good knowledge and extensive experience in the application of MATLAB/SIMULINK and dSPACE Tools
  • Experience in the application of different Simulation Platforms and Tool Chains [SiL;HiL]
  • Programming Skills (C/Python/MATLAB) are beneficial
  • Self-reliant and result-driven working style, synchronizid and harmonized in a global team
  • Very good German and English language skills
