CAE/FEA Engineer [ENG]

The company ZF Friedrichshafen AG is represented at about 230 locations in 40 countries.  ZF is one of the top three automotive suppliers worldwide. In Jablonec we are extending engineering team dealing with development of personal car brake systems for leading global car manufacturers. 

 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Analysis of brake control products by means of Simulation
  • Focus on multi-physics (Electro-Magnetic, Fluid Dynamics, Material non-linearities, Structural)
  • Evaluating multi-physic conditions by performing coupled simulations (3D and 1D)
  • Deriving and evaluating 1D models based on correlated 3D simulations and test results
  • Presentation and interpretation of results
  • Development of new calculation methods in correlation to measurement
  • Close contact with international colleagues and customers

 

Profile

  • Master in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics or Mechatronics
  • Knowledge in Applied Mechanic and Finite Element Method (FEM)
  • Skilled in ANSYS, ABAQUS, ALTAIR or any other FEM software
  • Knowledge of ANSYS Maxwell and/or ANSYS FLUENT (profitable)
  • Skilled in 1D simulation environment (MATLAB/SIMULNK)
  • Knowledge of written & oral English (German profitable)
  • Your personality strengths must include the ability to work in team and to communicate well
