Product Quality Engineer

We are strengthening our team in Quality Control Operations at our location in Izmir.
 
As part of Quality team, you will be responsible for the management of internal and external quality issues. You will work with both local and international customers, production people, customers’ quality teams and all relevant departments within the plant and ZF Group.
 
What you can look forward to as Product Quality Engineer:

• To ensure the product quality and to ensure that the production quality control (process and final) departments are carrying out their tasks in a good coordination and effective manner
• Together with Production people, to analyze and create solutions for customer complaints and internal quality-related problems, to prevent their reoccurrence, to ensure the implementation of correction and preventive actions, FTA and 8D activities, to follow up the open correction and preventive actions
• To manage APQP & PPAP activities as a project team member during the new product launch process
• To perform process and product audits and follow the next steps for open topics, lead read-across approach implementation and manage Quarantine area and prepare Quality related reports (weekly/monthly)
• Monitoring of customer quality performance (e.g.: customer score cards, top customer issues, PPMs, warranty score, etc.), monitoring of customer portals, notifications and/or response of concerns, containment actions, customer alerts, etc.
• Responsible of customer communication for proper follow-up of customer concerns, problem solving for quality customer concerns, negotiations, customer quality audits/visits, etc.
• Drive compliance of non-conformance process of the customer quality concerns (e.g.: product identification, quarantine, scrap, containment actions, etc.)
• Responsible of warranty management process: part analysis, problem solving, customer, NTF (not trouble found), agreements and interface with corporate warranty 

Your profile as Product Quality Engineer:

• Graduated from Mechanical or Industrial Engineering departments of universities, with at least 5 year of production quality control or project experience in the automotive industry
• To have experience in IATF 16949 QMS and to have IATF 16949 Internal auditor certificate, to have knowledge of process and system audit methods
• Preferably have knowledge of machining and assembly production processes and products
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and problem-solving methods, knowledge of measurement methods and the use of relevant test equipment
• Good English speaking and writing skills
