About the Team:

We are expanding our Purchasing & Supplier Development team across Istanbul and looking for Supplier Development Engineer to join us in Istanbul with Division Aftermarket.

What you can look forward to as Supplier Development Engineer:

• Develop and implement supplier management strategies in Turkey aligned with global objectives.
• Lead and perform new supplier approval audits and regular process audits in accordance with VDA 6.3 standards.
• Lead and manage supplier development and supplier readiness projects including APQP and PPAP activities.
• Collaborate with the SQA team to support Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP) at assigned suppliers.
• Ensure achievement of annual supplier KPIs through close cooperation with SQA teams.
• Support escalation level 2 supplier development activities as needed.
• Assist in resolving supplier claims and quality issues in coordination with SQA.

Your profile as Supplier Development Engineer:

• Graduated from Mechanical Engineering or related technical field with minimum 5 years of similar experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Certified VDA 6.3 Auditor with strong knowledge of forging, forming, heat treatment, coating, machining, casting, assembly.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IATF 16949 standards.
• Proficient in quality tools: APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, 8D.
• Strong technical and analytical skills, with proven problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent project management, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for business as required.
