About the Team:

We are expanding our Corporate Strategy team across Istanbul and looking for Global Category Management Specialist to join us in Istanbul with Division Aftermarket.

What you can look forward to as Global Category Management Specialist:

• Monitor & pursue strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders in order to safeguard future revenue streams / support incremental growth.
• Validation of market potential parameters (e.g. PPM, replacement rates, market shares, etc) as base for strategic (measure) planning.
• Create Business Cases and Business Concept Studies through volume simulations & follow up analysis in conjunction with market potentials.
• Support the “go to market strategy” through IAM Service & Workshop concepts, Channel Shift IAM (e.g. market analysis, stakeholder assessment, fit-/gap analysis), incl monitoring of implementation & execution of relevant activities.
• Interface to X-functions (e.g. Market intelligence, PM Diagnostics, Portfolio Strategy​) in order to evaluate business opportunities.
• Coordinate global operational topics such as product presentations, product specifications, global p/n pricing conflicts, organizing global structure reporting and meetings.
• Initiate Bleeder/ Life Cycle Management (make and buy acc. Product strategy).
• Interrogate cross-divisional competitiveness support (COGS productivity).
• Safeguard implementation global strategies together with stakeholder groups to deliver commercial success of respective product line and achieve sales, margin & profitability performance targets. Fulfillment of project targets and customer requirements.
• Work closely with Product Management to enable global NPIs via ideation processes.
• Follow up & implement improvement potentials identified by Global analyst (measure planning).

Your profile as Global Category Management Specialist:

• Min. 5 years of experience in International Sales/ Business Development/ Consultancy / Research and Development context.
• Good understanding of respective product portfolio.
• Ability to go deep with engineering when required.
• Very good analytical-, problem-solving, project management skills.
• Entrepreneurial personality with creative unconventional thinking skills.
• Strong global networking skills with ability to build up trust relations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Project management expertise.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering or similar.
