Brand Specialist SCALAR

We are looking for a Brand Specialist for SCALAR, candidates need to have high level knowledge on how to apply AI in graphic and video design. The position is location-independent.


About the role
As Brand Specialist at SCALAR, you'll be responsible for translating our brand strategy into high-impact visual content and experiences. With a brand refresh on the horizon, you'll be at the heart of evolving how SCALAR shows up—visually and creatively—across every touchpoint.
We’re looking for a passionate creative who’s as skilled at executing design work as they are at bringing marketing campaigns to life in original and compelling ways. From updating visuals and refining guidelines to designing campaign assets and ensuring global brand consistency, you’ll help us build a brand that’s as bold and dynamic as our mission.
 
Main accountabilities, responsibilities and deliverables :

  • Own the SCALAR brand guidelines, collaborating cross-functionally to maintain a consistent brand appearance.
  • Own and ensure a well-maintained and accessible brand asset repository. Organize and optimize the SCALAR documentation channels for easy use by the broader organization.
  • Support and co-create marketing campaigns by developing imaginative and effective visual concepts; bring the creative element to the development of these campaigns.
  • Create, and coordinate the creation of, visually compelling marketing assets and collaterals using graphic design, photo manipulation, animation, video and 3D modelling techniques.
  • Support the SCALAR brand across diverse markets and regions, adapting strategies to meet regional nuances while maintaining a cohesive global brand image.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional SCALAR teams such as product marketing & Go-To-Market, communication, sales, and customer success and support, to ensure a cohesive and consistent SCALAR brand appearance across all touchpoints.
  • Stay informed about, and experiment with, emerging skills and technologies to enhance our creative output, driving the integration of advanced techniques including AI & automation, promoting workflow efficiency and innovation.

 

Skills / experience / main competencies :

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a design or branding role, experience in a global B2B SaaS organization is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent.
  • Mastery in graphic design, photo editing, infographic design, motion graphics, AI enhanced design, etc. is a must.
  • Be a creative powerhouse - both the spark and the engine: dream up standout ideas and make them happen with precision and consistency.
  • Ability to coordinate freelance specialists to support in asset production when needed.
  • Commercially aware and a customer-centric attitude, ability to be innovative and creative to distinguish from competition.
  • Self-starter who can handle the demands of a globally distributed team.
  • Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for design and detail.
  • An understanding of how cultural differences can impact customer perceptions and expectations in a global market.
  • Strong interest in trends and emerging skills and technologies to enhance our creative output, driving the integration of advanced techniques including AI & automation.
  • Basic understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles is a plus.
