Thermal & CFD Simulation Engineer for Electric Motor

Your tasks:

  • Support Product Development Cycle of E-Motors for HEV & BEV by providing simulation-based design solutions for cooling system
  • Perform thermal analysis of E-Motor using 1D thermal simulation and 3D CFD/CHT simulation at sub-system and system level
  • Method and Tool development for thermal analysis of E-Motors, preparation of standard analysis procedures
  • Validation of thermal system models through test correlation
  • Close communication with design and testing teams for design optimization and test planning
  • Automation and optimization of thermal simulation procedures


Your profile:


  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably in Fluid Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Computational Engineering with 2-5 years of experience.
  • Strong theoretical background in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer
  • Expertise in automotive cooling systems with focus on powertrain components
  • Expertise in CFD Tools, preferably in Ansys Fluent
  • Expertise in system simulation tools, preferably in Dassault Dymola
  • Scripting experience for customization and automation of simulation processes
  • Experience in E-Motor thermal analysis is a strong advantage
