Your tasks as Quality System Engineer (m/f/d):

  • Actively drive the Process Development activities for VDA and Non-VDA scope processes with Global Process Owners & Local Process Champions.
  • Ensure that the Engineering processes are developed according to the applicable ZF directives and external standards like Automotive SPICE, Mechanical SPICE, IATF, ISO26262, etc. 
  • Develop strategies to optimize the Engineering processes. Support the process owners in the definition of tool strategies and tool roadmaps.
  • Ensure that the regional and site-specific requirements are considered in the common Active Safety Systems Engineering process set. Support the management in driving and tracking the status of internal quality and digitalization initiatives. 
  • Perform independent process compliance assessments on projects. Support the internal and external IATF audits on a need basis. Perform independent assessments to verify the effectiveness of deployed quality initiatives like ZF DNA of Quality, ZF Way, etc.

 

Your profile as Quality System Engineer (m/f/d):

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics or Computer Science.
  • 6+ years of experience in process development, quality assurance, or Software development roles in the Automotive industry.
  • Strong moderation and negotiation skills. Certified Automotive SPICE Provisional Assessor. 
  • IATF Auditor certification would be an added advantage. Experience in using configuration management, requirements management, and change management tools.
  • Fluent in English, German language skills would be an advantage.
