As a Level 2 Support/Analyst Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting various analytics solutions, including data ingestion pipelines, APIs, data lake solutions, web-based software and backends, and BI solutions. Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Support and Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with service managers to escalate critical issues and follow incident resolution procedures.
    • Coordinate with L3 development teams/engineers, L4 external partners, and business partners for the defined solutions in scope.
  2. User Support:

    • Promptly respond to user queries and technical issues related to analytical applications.
  3. System Monitoring:

    • Perform system monitoring, incident detection, and initial problem diagnosis.
    • Document support activities, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for future reference.
  4. Incident Management:

    • Monitor incidents/problems to ensure timely resolution in compliance with project and service SLAs.
  5. Application Maintenance:

    • Monitor and maintain applications and related data pipelines using available technologies to proactively address risks, slowdowns, and failures before they impact customers.
  6. Solution Monitoring:

    • Create, optimize, and maintain end-to-end solution monitoring.
  7. System Optimization:

    • Analyze and optimize data flows, analytics solutions, and IT-related systems.
    • Track service performance and contribute to improving the efficiency and quality of services provided to the customer.

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business information technology, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of analysis or development experience in data analytics and BI environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and troubleshoot complex problems or processes.
  • Experience in supporting and troubleshooting data products, pipelines, and analytical/BI solutions.
  • Good understanding of IT systems and data interfaces.
  • Basic working knowledge of ITIL processes, ticketing (BMC Remedy), monitoring, and DevOps tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies like MS Azure (Data Lake, Data Bricks, ADF, Synapse, Azure Data Warehouse, Python) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience with Power Apps is a plus.
  • Knowledge of relational databases like Microsoft SQL (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, stored procedures) and Oracle.
  • Familiarity with non-relational databases (MongoDB).
  • Must be familiar with a variety of data extraction techniques (ETL, APIs, CDC).
  • Experience with analytics/dashboarding tools like Power BI, KNIME, Tableau.
  • Experience in SAP environments (SAP BW, SAP DataSphere, SAP SLT) is a plus.
  • Experience in setting up data models, data sets, data transformations, data products, performance optimizations, and interfacing with platforms.
  • Knowledge of network configurations, IT hardware, and software installations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Excel.
  • Strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate collaboratively and effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently in English.
  • Knowledge of ZF production systems and environments is a plus.
