Job Description

Hardware Development Engineer Design (m / f)

Focus:

• Specification, architectural design, and design of electronic circuits for automotive applications
• Accompanying development documentation
• Circuit validation through calculations and simulations
• Standard-compliant circuit design (eg. VDE) and component selection
• Commissioning and design validation
• Support of testing and qualification of hardware
• Implementation of FMEAs / FMEDAs
• Development and monitoring of schedules for hardware development

The requirement profile:

• Completed engineering studies in the field of electrical or electronics engineering  
• Experience in the development of electronics in the automotive sector under standard aspects
• Good knowledge on embedded electronics design and/ or power electronics circuit design
• Having knowledge on Electric vehicle power train architecture is an added advantage
• Good knowledge on microcontroller, power supply design, Analog and digital circuit design, Communication interfaces like CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI and Ethernet.
• Very good knowledge in the use of development tools (EDA software Mentor Graphics, measuring instruments, simulation tools "P-SPICE", etc.)
• Knowledge of functional safety standard ISO26262
• Experience in project implementation in the automotive sector
• Business understanding and cost-oriented thinking
• independent, systematic, and analytical way of working
• very good knowledge of English
• German knowledge is desirable but not mandatory
