SW Project Manager

Job Description

Your tasks:
•    Managing SW project in the automotive braking/Steering software domain to handle in global project environment right from initiation to the closure of the project.
•    As SW project manager assigned to the global projects to execute the given project.
•    Plan and manage software releases, in line with project timing plan from the Engineering Project Manager. Coordinate and support the sub-requirements elicitation process, maintain the defined sub-project documents, plans, feasibility study of achieving the goals of the project in terms of technical feasibility within constrains with respect to time, project estimates and available resources.
•     Monitor and control sub-project activities and required resources by conducting regular sub-project team meetings and attend to the project team meetings of the Engineering Project Manager. Perform the identification and documentation of risks and issues in the sub-project and drive compliance of software development to required quality standards.
•    Manage sub-project deliverables in line with the sub-project management plan, Internal Environment / Interaction: as part of the project, Interact with Internal/Global Stakeholders
 
Your profile:
•    Possess university Degree in Engineering or Higher; preferably in Electronics.
•    Preferably from Automotive background with prior project management experience
•    Possess proven project management/leadership experience (Min 3 years) with knowledge of embedded software development processes, preferably in automotive sector
•    Strong experience in SW Development Life Cycle (Preferable V-Model), Good knowledge on automotive standards (e.g. ASPICE, AUTOSAR and ISO26262), Good experience in MS Project Planning, DOOR’s, version control, configuration management and Life cycle management tools (Preferably PTC integrity) and Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills; able to manage diverse teams
•    Travel requirements and language skills: candidate willing to travel on need basis and fluent in English.
