Job Description

What you can look forward to as Principle Engineer- SAM Development:

  • Supports Global IT Software Asset Management Team in license optimization and risk prevention.
  • Supports in the strengthening, maintenance and improvement of Software Asset inventory, process, and practices.
  • Prepares and maintains life cycle management status reporting, metrics, and benchmarks to ensure that software asset life-cycle-related data required by stakeholders is gathered and shared appropriately, all cost and risk is correctly identified and managed.
  • Supports license audits initiated by software vendors. Sets up and streamlines license audit structure and process at ZF with an intention to reduce potential financial risks.
  • Ensures that IT Software Assets are compliant and cost efficient. Coordinates and collaborates with all required stakeholders in the scope of SAM function.
  • Drives the culture of Software Asset Governance in the organization through communication, awareness, and trainings

 

Your profile as Principle Engineer- SAM Development:

  • At least 8-12 years of experience in IT with minimum 5 years of solid experience in SAM function/department.
  • Hands-on experience working on SAM inventory/tools and on full SAM lifecycle. General license mgt. 
  • Strong communication & presentation skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communication with technical staff, business stakeholders and management.
  • Highly analytical with a high sense for urgency.
  • International Work Experience & English language skills.
