We are looking for a Head of Cost Engineering Region India (FEI) at one of our locations in Hyderabad or Pune.

Your Tasks:

Planning and managing of local Cost Engineering activities (e.g. cost calculation, benchmarking, Design-to-Cost...). Develop and executive OP plan for the Cost engineering support needed in the region.
Regional voice and lead of Cost Engineering Hub as business partner of global Cost Engineering activities within Corporate and Divisions. Implement systematic Target cost management in all divisions in respective region.
Support execution of local governance and provide corrensponding services for business activities within regions (Cost Leadership throughout PLC).
Participation in the development and implementation of standardized cost analysis systems and instruments for the cross-functional alignment with cost information from a global perspective as well as in the development of processes, methods, and tools for cost analysis in cross-functional product cost management
Responsible for sustainable anchoring, shaping of the cost engineering strategy in the region, as well as local leadership of the cost engineering team. Cost Analytical evaluation of purchased parts and investments within the defied clusters/commodities (Souring Support) + emission Optimization.

Your Profile:

A bachelor's degree in Engineering with minimum 13+ years of work experience. CMA qualification would be an added advantage.
Deep understading on Cost Engineering process and approaches (Target Costing).
Professional experience in the automotive industry in a comparable function as well as practical experience in cost analysis at suppliers or cost disclosures at customers.
Global Leadership experience with strong negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong technical background, in combination with business acumen, market understanding and a willingness to travel.
