About the Team
We are looking to strengthen our architecture group with a new Cloud Software Architect specialized in building distributed (microservice) applications on the AWS cloud stack together with our cloud platform and product teams. The teams are working on a self-developed fully cloud based platform called INFINITY where applications like SCALAR or ZF [pro]Diagnostics are developed and deployed. 

What you can look forward to as a Cloud Software Architect (m/f/d):

• Build modern cutting-edge architectures going from Solution architecture, business architecture to technical architecture for multiple digital services
• Define and assist product manager and product owners to shape the correct requirements & vision
• Continuously refine and work together in an agile methodology with the product and platform teams to enable quick time to market within the architecture constraints (scalability, SLO, ...)
• Investigate and develop proof-of-concepts using new techniques such as edge computing or artificial intelligence to solve complex business problems. 
• Be an advocate to ensure all aspects (quality, SLO, security, legal, data protection, ...) are covered in the delivered digital services

Your Profile as a Cloud Software Architect (m/f/d):

• Computer Science master’s degree or equivalent with 8+ years’ experience in software development working in an agile environment 
• At least 3+ years’ experience in architecture for distributed software with a focus on cloud systems
• Proven knowledge on modern architecture principles (DDD, event sourcing, microservices, FAAS). Good understanding of one of the big cloud technologies with a plus on knowledge in AWS
• Knowledge on vehicle diagnostics and vehicle software update systems is a plus
• Must have passion for optimizing business solutions, requirement gathering, building business processes to deliver optimal customer centric solutions
• Strong analytical mindset and good communication/presentation skills
• Working language: English, German beneficial
