Process Planning Engineer (Laser Welding)

Your tasks:

planning, optimization and further development for laser welding processes and steps, preparing decisions, teamwork with the Research & Development in Thyrnau, checking the items for laser welding producibility
solving internal quality problems, leading and supervising permanent elimination and correction measures
planning, coordinating and supervising tests, documenting and evaluating results and conveying measures
evaluation of the grinding (material knowledge to heat handling etc. necessary)
planning material flow
working steps, work processes, describing resources, calculating optimal production batch
documenting production processes incl. process data, setting up test guidelines
conducting project organisation, planning and controlling
teamwork with the “ZF Laser Welding Competence Team” in the ZF network
managing and initiating CIP - advising the shiftleader, quality, logistic and maintenance
conducting and evaluating working processes and time studies based on scientific methods
compliance with the quality parameter towards internal and external customers
be responsible for PFMEA and control plan
reporting mandatory infomation
compliance with work safety

Your Profile:

5+ years working experience, 3+ years in material engineering welding with specialization in laser welding
Bachelor degree or above, degree in Mechanical/ manufacturing/ meterial process
Fluent in both oral and written english, proficient in MS-Office
Good team work spirit, strong analytical and problem solving skills, can work under pressure
