About the Team
- Design, implement, and calibrate motor control algorithms including FOC, torque/speed control, and field-weakening.
- Develop and optimize integrated boost charging control algorithms according to customer requirements.
- Pre-research the next-gen electric drive platform, covering TC4xx PPU/eGTM, X-in-1 topologies, high-frequency control, and advanced modulation.
- Collaborate with global teams to integrate platform features, including synchronous PWM, sensorless control, and others.
- Optimize electric drive efficiency, NVH reduction, and thermal management control strategies.
- Perform detailed design, coding, unit testing, and software debugging for motor control algorithms.
- Collaborate with hardware and BSW teams to ensure correct ADC sampling synchronization and PWM timing.
- Analyze control algorithm performance in HIL, dyno, and vehicle tests to resolve calibration issues.
- Familiar with automotive software development lifecycles and software architectures (e.g., AUTOSAR).
- Extensive experience in PMSM and IM motor control, field-weakening, and SVPWM strategies.
- Experience in at least one area of 15-20kHz control, dual-Inverter, sensorless control, or integrated boost charging.
- Experience with Simulink modeling and auto-code generation.
- Understanding of motor physics, inverter operation, and sensor feedback mechanisms.
- Familiarity with dyno testing, HIL systems, and troubleshooting system-level anomalies.
- More than 8 years of experience in electric drive software/algorithm development.
