Your tasks:
- Close collaboration with the global industrial engineering team in Germany to support and coordination the procurement of assembly systems for new international product launches in the Asian region for all relevant questions to assembly process.
- As part of the Industrialization project you will be responsible for the assembly planning, e.g., deriving process sequences from related design, run feasibility studies, creation of process specifications, plan and design of new manufacturing concepts.
- Responsible for coordination with factory for layout planning, logistic concept, quality and test planning.
- Responsible for all production KPI´s related to assembly process and sequence from planning until operational handover to factory.
- Local interface to production, design development, quality, logistics and project management for assembly processes.
- Support the global industrialization for supplier selection, preliminary acceptance, commissioning, and handover to the factory in the global plant network especially Asia-Pacific.
Your profile:
- Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering or similar with a focus on assembly planning/production planning required.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in automotive industry and in the field of assembly planning are essential. Experience in rotor, stator or e-axle assemblies advantageous.
- Methodological knowledge around lean manufacturing, six sigma and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English skills required, German language skills advantageous.
- Working in/and leading multidisciplinary teams, flexibility, ability to work in a team and motivation.
