About the team:

The HR Business Partner team works closely with business leaders to drive people and organizational development, ensuring alignment between business goals and HR strategy. We provide hands-on support across all HR areas—from recruitment and employee relations to performance management and transformation projects—while fostering a positive, compliant, and engaging workplace.

 

What You Can Look Forward to as HRBP:

  • Partner with the Head of HR and business leaders to drive key people and organizational development initiatives, ensuring alignment with company strategy.
  • Lead and execute end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee/labor relations, performance management, and people transfers.
  • Provide coaching and advisory support to leaders on organizational development, change management, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Oversee HR compliance, policies, and local labor regulations while maintaining strong collaboration with external partners and unions.
  • Manage HR reporting, budgeting, and KPI tracking; deliver local transformation projects and labor negotiations as needed.
  • Partner with CoEs and HRBP colleagues to adapt global HR standards to local practices and business needs.
  • Drive local HR and training initiatives that enhance employee engagement, learning, and organizational capability.
  • Support and mentor junior HR team members, manage complex case handling, and foster a positive, collaborative work culture.

 

Your Profile as HRBP:

  • 5+ years of HR experience in an international environment, including 3+ years as HRBP or HR Generalist, with solid knowledge of Japanese Labor Law.
  • Proven expertise across multiple HR areas, from recruitment and employee relations to training and organizational development.
  • Strong consulting, communication, and interpersonal skills with a balance of strategic thinking and operational execution.
  • Analytical, service-oriented, and adaptable, maintaining high confidentiality and organizational capability.
  • Fluent in Japanese (native level) and business-level English; open to 10–20% domestic travel.
  • Ambitious to grow into a leadership position, with potential to step up as Head of HR in the future.
