About The Team

DIWZ is organized as an Internal Engineering Competence Center to support the Product Development Activities of the Business Units in China in the areas of Design, Electronics, Simulation, Fundamentals, Testing, IP, PM, and Advanced Engineering. Further, DIWZ runs the Innovation Lab Shanghai. Now, we are looking for a Software Development Engineer - Functional Safety for our China Software Center in Guangzhou, China.

What you can look forward as a Software Engineer - Functional Safety

• Central contact person for internal and external customers as well as responsible for the software safety lifecycle
• Support of the development teams concerning functional safety
• Developing concepts for a safe and reliable software for steering systems, particularly regarding autonomous driving and steer-by-wire
• Maintenance and optimization of the software safety process
• Creation and review of software safety work products such as FTA/FMEA and DFA as well as ensuring the Freedom from Interference in software

Your Profile as a Software Engineer - Functional Safety

• More than 3 years of embedded software development
• Knowledge of the standards: ISO26262, Automotive SPICE
• Experience on the common methods of safety analysis such as FTA/FMEA and DFA
• Experience on steering system or software is a plus.
• Interested in intercultural cooperation, fluent knowledge of English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
