'* Manage assigned supply base and develop cost-saving methods and opportunities in order to promote overall business unit productivity and supplier competitiveness for defined commodity (i.e. through VA/VE methods, quoting, independent negotiations, resourcing, etc.);
* Conduct Global Competitive Sourcing (GCS) benchmarking to find alternative suppliers more in line with BPG targets per the PFS;
* Develop and maintain part family strategy based on global targets / requirements and carry out negotiations as lead contact for defined suppliers;
* Adhere to the defined sourcing process per company policy, investigate and select optimal suppliers for materials in a timely manner through the effective use of industry techniques, procedures, and planning methods. Prepare sourcing cases in cooperation and alignment with all supply chain departments and present to the applicable boards for sourcing approval. Define and negotiate purchasing contracts, Supply and Warranty Agreements, in addition to other contracts and legal documentation;
* Understand and ensure compliance with all group directives
