Regional Commodity Buyer APAC

About the Team

We are looking for a new colleague in Material Management team at our location in Guangzhou.

What you can look forward to as Regional Commodity Buyer APAC:

• Define and execute the APAC commodity strategy for Outsourced Labor, Sorting Service, Temporary Worker (Blue collar & White collar).
• Manage strategic sourcing and supplier management.
• Plan and execute RFQs, tenders and sourcing activities.
• Coordinate sourcing decisions and supplier changes with stakeholders.
• Lead contract negotiations (pricing, service levels, payment terms etc.).
• Maintain supplier data, contracts and pricing accuracy.
• Monitor supplier performance (cost, service performance etc.).
• Drive cost optimization initiatives (benchmarking, network optimization etc.).
• Conduct market analysis and risk assessment.
• Support process standardization, digitalization and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally (HR, Quality, Finance, Legal, Operations).
• Prepare reports and sourcing recommendations for management.

Your Profile as Regional Commodity Buyer APAC:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, HR, Economics or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or category management.
• Strong background in labor services, staffing, outsourcing, or operational services.
• Strong strategic sourcing and supplier management capabilities.
• Knowledge of labor market dynamics and outsourcing models.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and cost management skills.
• Experience in international or matrix organizations (preferred).
• Understanding of labor law and compliance considerations across APAC (preferred).
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
