FMEA Engineer

About the Team

We are looking for a new colleague in R&D Center at our location in Shanghai.

What you can look forward to as a FMEA Engineer:

• Responsible that the project team is performing the FMEA process
• Responsible to ensures proper FMEA analysis (e.g. Rating and Action assignment) acc. Standard FMEA Methodology
• Responsible to prepare the relevant FMEA work products
• Ensures consistency between engineering documents (e.g. Architecture, Requirements, Safety, Special Characteristic Matrix)
• and FMEA
• Ensures that the FMEA will be reviewed with feasible stakeholders internal and external (customer)
• Ensures, if required, reviews with suppliers will take place together with Supplier Quality
• Responsible for reporting and to monitors action planned in FMEA to closure
• Responsible to coordinate and integrate global product component, Sub-System and system FMEA's
• Support the FMEA review with customer and fulfil the customer specific FMEA requirements
• Maintain and implement global standard FMEA processes
• Participation in global FMEA experience / working groups
• Train/coach the related Engineering functional team FMEA tools and methods

Your Profile as a FMEA Engineer:

• Good knowledge with Product and Process FMEA, AIAG FMEA manual
• Basic Mechanical/ Mechatronics product design and application knowledge and concept
• Good communication skills, good at the English speaking and writing
• Coaching & mentoring skills, able to convince people that certain things are important and the advice is implemented
• Ability to work in a team, good team working spirit
• Knowledge of FMEA Software tools (APIS IQ-RM) is beneficial
• Good skill in Planning and coordination
• Educational: Bachelor or above, Major in Automotive Engineering is preferred
• Experience: More than 3 years experience in Automotive, experience in a similar position
