Engineering Tool Developer

This Job Role is part of Job Family "Research&Development"

Purpose of this Job Role is to develop tools for supporting the R&D processes with the following main tasks:

•    Design, specification, script implementation for automation test system (EXAM system) 
•    Setup and maintenance the communication between automation test system and HILs. e.g. dSPACE HIL, Vector HIL
•    Software testing and software verification according to specification using hardware in the loop test systems
•    Support construction and maintenance of the test environment, excution of automation test
•    Assistance in troubleshooting and corrective action

Working Experience Needed:

• At least 7 years working experience in automation test system development for hybrid transmission/ Invertor/ E machine.
• The development ability of automation test tool is a must.
• Coding level of CAPL and python is a must.
• Experience with EXAM system or similar automation test tool.
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop test benches Vector HIL and dSPACE HIL.
• System know-how and knowledge of the domain (e.g. Transmission/ Hybrid transmission/ Invertor/ E Machine)
• Knowledge of control unit-hardware / software and their interfaces (e.g. real time systems, bus systems, diagnosis protocols, ...)
