Your Task:

• Manage supply-base and drive cost-savings in order to improve overall productivity / profitability and supplier competitiveness for commodity wire-forming / springs in ZF Globally with main focus ASEAN (i.e. through new business awards, Global Competitive Sourcing [GCS], annual-negotiations, regular deflation/inflation updates, total cost management [in cooperation with CE, logistics, etc.], cost structure analysis, continuous-improvement-programs, VA/VE methods, etc.).
• Implement Annual Business-Plan-Target-Setting-&-Achievement as lead negotiator for assigned wire-forming / springs suppliers as well as support respective negotiations of colleagues in same and other commodities.
• Perform quality-, quantity-, time- and cost-conform purchasing of series parts, incl. maintenance of respective purchasing systems.
• Prepare, SupplyOn-RFQ and present sourcing packages for decision at Sourcing Decision Board (SAB / SDB) or through SWAT workflows.
• Define and negotiate purchasing contracts, Supply and Warranty Agreements, in addition to other contracts, terms-and-conditions and legal documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering (or degree in Mechanical Engineering with good commercial knowledge)
• Multi-year experience in technical purchasing, or logistics / quality / production planning in automotive industry is advantageous.
• Negotiating-skills, ability to work online in a global-team, flexibility, dedication, creativity, as well as ability / willingness to travel both domestically and internationally required.
• Knowledge of modern purchasing-techniques, as well as of law, project-management and quality desirable.
• Excellent verbal and business-fluent English skills required. Additional skills in German language advantageous, but not actually required.
