About the team:
We are looking for a new colleague in our Research & Development team at our location in Monterrey! The Chassis Solutions Division of ZF North America offers application specific solutions for a variety of different automotive Steering, Braking, Suspension and Chassis Components. What you can look forward to as a Test Equipment Supervisor:

• Leads the team responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of automated test systems used to validate ZF electronic products. The role combines personnel supervision, technical leadership, project coordination, and hands-on expertise in electrical hardware, software, and tester automation. 
• Supervise Test Equipment Development engineers and technicians, assign work, establish priorities, and provide technical guidance. 
• Oversee development of durability and functional test systems for ZF Electronics product lines. 
• Provide technical direction and review of tester hardware, software, automation, instrumentation, fixtures, wiring, power supplies, loads, and communication interfaces. 
• Lead resolution of complex tester integration, prove-out, and hardware/software troubleshooting issues. 
• Manage test-equipment project planning, resource allocation, technical documentation, implementation, and delivery. 
• Review technical solutions and promote common test-equipment architectures, standards, and engineering practices. 
• Coordinate with program management, product engineering, validation laboratories, other engineering functions, and suppliers. 
• Mentor and develop team members and support technical and organizational training. 
• Support maintenance, modification, and continuous improvement of existing test systems and development processes.  

Your profile as a Test Equipment Supervisor:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 
• Significant experience developing automated test equipment and integrated hardware/software test systems. 
• Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to supervise, mentor, and coordinate engineering personnel. 
• Ability to read electrical schematics and design, review, modify, and troubleshoot electronic circuits. 
• Experience developing and reviewing automated test software and scripts. 
• Strong knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, measurement equipment, data acquisition, power supplies, loads, and communication interfaces. 
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, leadership, and project-management skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple technical projects, resources, and priorities. 
• Proficiency in written and spoken English. 
• Preferred: Experience testing automotive electronic control units. Working knowledge of Python, C#, VB, CAPL, Vector tools, automotive communication protocols, databases, web applications, or automated reporting. Experience defining reusable test-system architectures, technical standards, or engineering practices. Experience coordinating external suppliers for test-equipment development or fabrication.
