Position summary:

This position is the Purchasing representative to the project team responsible for program launches within Electronics Portfolio (ECU/EPP business). Candidate will have the opportunity to work in a global team in a newly set up Chassis Electronics Division. This position offers a dynamic environment with significant opportunities for professional growth within a rapidly developing global organization.

What can you look forward as a Program Buyer: 

• Supplier/Program Management: Largely independent management of suppliers/programs with limited scope.

• Operational Planning: Execution and coordination of operational planning according to instructions.

• Cost and Efficiency Targets: Identify, propose, coordinate, derive, and ensure implementation of cost reduction measures at product level.

• Part Family Strategy: Support in the development, coordination, and implementation of the part family strategy as instructed.

• Supplier and Risk Management: Analyze and evaluate supplier portfolio and support its optimization; assist in considering risk management and sustainability requirements within the supply chain.

• Contract Negotiations: Conduct and finalize contract negotiations and agreements on terms and conditions under guidance and after alignment.

• Supply Chain Assurance: Ensure supplier capacity for serial production; initiate orders for tools and equipment.

Your profile as a Program Buyer:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor of Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent qualification. Experience in purchasing of more than 1 year.

• IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and knowledge of SAP MM module.

• Soft Skills: Assertiveness, ability to work in teams and manage projects remotely, solution-oriented thinking, independent and results-driven work approach, and negotiation skills.

• Languages: Business fluent English in writing and speaking (Level B2 or equivalent).
