About the team:
We are looking for a new colleague in our PCB Design and Tool team at our location in Monterrey! The Chassis Solutions Division of ZF North America offers application specific solutions for a variety of different automotive Steering, Braking, Suspension and Chassis Components. Continued growth in our Monterrey office has created an opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team!

What you can look forward to as a PCB Designer:

• Design and support printed circuit boards for electronic products from concept through production
• Design and review PCB layouts and schematics to meet electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing requirements
• Support high-speed, high current, analogue, and mixed-signal PCB designs
• Work closely with system, hardware, and mechanical engineers to ensure proper integration
• Ensure designs meet signal integrity, EMC, safety, and reliability requirements
• Support prototype builds, testing, and issue resolution
• Liaise with manufacturing plants and suppliers to ensure producibility and cost efficiency
• Maintain design documentation, standards, and best practices

Your profile as a PCB Designer:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or industry experience equivalent
• Extensive knowledge of ECAD tools and best hi-speed design practice
• Experience of Siemens EDA Xpedition tool set including Layout, Designer, CES, EDM, Fablink and Library Manager
• Detailed knowledge on PCB Design cycle, Design for Testing / Fabrication & PCB Assembly
• Experience of multi-layer, sequential & HDI technology
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong logical approach to problem solving
• Encourages feedback from mentors and learns from it
• Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility
