About the Team
The Inbound Logistics team is part of ZF’s Global Supply Chain organization and supports the Electronics and ADAS business in Monterrey. The team works closely with manufacturing sites, suppliers, commodity management, and launch teams to ensure material availability, inventory health, and supplier visibility. This role contributes to a collaborative, international environment where planning discipline, communication, and proactive problem solving are essential to keeping operations running smoothly.
What you can look forward to as Inbound Logistics Planner:
- Monitor inventory levels to meet monthly targets and work with suppliers to reduce excess or obsolete stock.
- Identify and investigate call-off volume variations together with site planners.
- Ensure site MRP planning parameters are aligned with corporate directives and coordinate MRP reset activities for key suppliers.
- Ensure call-offs are visible to key suppliers through EDI or supplier web portals.
- Monitor phase-in and phase-out component call-offs to avoid shortages and obsolescence.
- Support launch programs by ensuring sites and suppliers have at least 12 months of visibility in ERP.
- Coordinate special supply chain projects such as spot POs, dual sourcing, and last-time buys.
- Act as a key contact for shortages, recovery plans, supplier escalations, and cost recovery follow-up.
Your Profile as Inbound Logistics Planner:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant experience as Supply Chain Specialist or similar roles.
- Experience in a similar logistics, materials planning, supplier planning, or inventory role, preferably in automotive or automotive electronics.
- Experience planning logistics with international suppliers, particularly in Asia and Europe.
- Proficient knowledge of SAP MRP and ERP planning processes.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
- Effective English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical thinking, follow-up discipline, stakeholder communication, and escalation management skills.
