Responsible of General Accounting activities, including journal entries, GL accounts reconciliation, inter-company balancing, tax reporting and reconciliation. 

What you can look forward to as General Accountant:

• Reconcile Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and related aging reports.
• Post journal entries and maintain accuracy of General Ledger and tax accounts.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and tax‑related G/L accounts.
• Collect and manage all MX tax documentation and support monthly/annual tax reporting.
• Support filing and payment processes for all MX tax obligations.
• Prepare MX monthly and annual tax provisions and support statutory audit reviews.
• Prepare and submit electronic reports for MX e‑accounting requirements (customers and vendors).
• Maintain updated policies and procedures and assist with responses to Tax Agency notifications.

Your Profile as General Accountant:      

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with 3–6 years of relevant experience.
• 80–90% bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong MS Office skills; SAP/QAD experience is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of MX and US GAAP and strong experience with internal controls.
• Experience with tax‑efficient strategies to optimize effective tax rate.
• Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving ability, and high attention to detail.
• Proactive, team‑oriented mindset with strong ethical and legal standards.
• Excellent customer service focus and commitment to continuous improvement.
