About the team:
We are looking for a new colleague in our Research & Development team at our location in Monterrey! The Chassis Solutions Division of ZF North America offers application specific solutions for a variety of different automotive Steering, Braking, Suspension and Chassis Components. Continued growth in our Monterrey office has created an opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team!

What can you expect as a Prototype Buyer

• Provides quotation responses to customer requests for quote (RFQ).  
• Maintains prototype build timelines and forecasts. 
• Identifies and monitors potential areas of concern in meeting budget and delivery dates. 
• Issues RFQ to suppliers. 
• Issues PO for prototype components. 
• Help to resolve any supplier quality and late delivery issues. 
• Creates and distributes prototype Job Orders (including BOM's, prints, tech specs etc). 
• Coordinate with Shipping Dept to ensure parts are sent to customer on time.

Your profile as a Prototype Buyer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Program Management or business-related discipline. 
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience, within same role in a similar manufacturing organization. 
• Experience of ERP systems and MS Office products.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
