Job summary:

As a Commodity Management Trainee at ZF, the individual will be immersed in the strategic and operational aspects of global sourcing and supplier management. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of the commodity management function within a leading automotive technology company.

What can you look forward as a Commodity buyer intern:

• Supplier Analysis & Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, support benchmarking activities and cost analysis for assigned commodities.

• RFQ and Sourcing Support:Assist in preparing and managing Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes.Participate in supplier selection and evaluation processes.

• Contract Management: Support in drafting and reviewing supplier contracts and agreements.Ensure compliance with ZF’s procurement policies and legal standards.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality, logistics, and finance teams. Participate in cross-functional meetings and project reviews.

• Data Management & Reporting: Maintain commodity databases and dashboards.Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

• Sustainability & Innovation Initiatives: Contribute to sustainability projects and innovation scouting within the supply base.

Your profile as a commodity buyer intern:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelors degee

• Data management and analysis

• Power Bi is a plus

• English advanced

• Analytical skills
