Job Description

About the team:

As a Mechanical Engineer for ADAS, you will design and develop ZF ADAS electronics products, including front and surround-view cameras and related ECUs. These camera products support many ADAS features, including Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), along with other functions such as Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR), Park Assist, Surround View and E-Mirror. You will engage in both product development and vehicle integration activities, contributing to innovative mobility technologies.

 

 

What you can look forwar to as ADAS Mechanical Engineer:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute mechanical engineering activities for ADAS product development projects.
  • Perform mechanical simulations, analyze results, and present detailed technical reports.
  • Lead or support the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and system integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to resolve design and validation issues.
  • Apply engineering methodologies such as DFMEA, DFM/DFA, Six Sigma, and CAE to ensure robust designs.
  • Analyze customer CAD data and vehicle packaging constraints for proper integration.
  • Manage engineering changes using formal change management processes.
  • Define and support component and system validation testing activities.

 

 

Your Profile as ADAS Mechanical Engineer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in automotive mechanical design or engineering.
  • Knowledge of electronics packaging and automotive product development processes.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools such as FloTHERM XT or Ansys Icepak (preferred).
  • Understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, with strong time management and teamwork abilities.
