About the Team
Reporting to the Head of Aftermarket Purchasing Region North America, you will be responsible for serving as the functional expert for Aftermarket Purchasing activities in North America related to Chassis and assigned product-lines. You will join a highly motivated and competent team focused on sustainably driving savings and sourcing excellence with a focus on our customers.

Position is responsible for serving as the functional expert for Aftermarket purchasing activities related to Chassis and assigned product-lines in North America with global supply base.

Your Profile as Regional Senior Sourcing

Responsibilities:

1.       Purchasing activities: sourcing, launch, cost management, and supply base management

2.       Set contractual agreements for regional suppliers operating globally, regionally, and locally ensuring competitiveness

3.       Manage supplier performance

4.       Maintain vendor data in ERP system

5.       Identify and evaluate market trends that are necessary for the purchasing strategy and target achievement

Qualifications:

1.       Bachelor’s degree in Cost Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related field.

2.       Minimum 6-year experience in a Direct Material Purchasing capacity - commodity purchasing, project purchasing, cost engineering in a manufacturing environment– that include sourcing, launch, cost optimization and supply base management.

3.       Able to read, comprehend technical documents (drawings, specs, engineering changes), facilitate technical reviews & VAVE

5.       Knowledge of SAP, Windchill, project management are a plus

6.       Proficient in Microsoft O365 with Advanced Analytics and Negotiation Skills

7.       Fluent English / Spanish

          Travel Required Required 20%
