Regional Program Senior Sourcing and technical purchasing:

We are looking for a new colleague in the Aftermarket North America Purchasing team at our Guadalajara, Mexico location.

Position is responsible for serving as the functional expert for all purchasing activities related to assigned product-lines.

The Aftermarket North America Regional Senior Buyer is responsible for ZF’s E-Mobility, Control Systems, Electronics, Industrial and New Mobility sourcing and technical purchasing related activities
It serves Div-B Aftermarket locations in USA and Mexico with global supply base.

 Responsibilities:

1.       Purchasing activities: sourcing, launch, cost management, and supply base management

2.       Set contractual agreements for regional suppliers operating globally, regionally and locally ensuring competitiveness

3.       Manage supplier performance

4.       Maintain vendor data in ERP system

5.       Identify and evaluate market trends that are necessary for the purchasing strategy and target achievement

Qualifications:

1.       Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electronics / Mechatronics), Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related field.

2.       Minimum 6 years experience in a Direct Material Purchasing capacity - technical purchasing, commodity purchasing, project purchasing – that include sourcing, launch, cost optimization and supply base management.

3.       Analytical and Negotiation skills

4.       Able to read and comprehend technical documents (drawings, specs, engineering changes)

5.       Knowledge of MRP systems

6.       Proficient in Office365 with Advanced Excel

7.       Fluent English / Spanish
