Pricing Specialist

Key purpose

Local coordination of pricing approach for region NA, this includes process standardization, KPI management, providing regional market feedback to Global Pricing and operational pricing in line with central guidelines (price corridor and processes)

Main accountabilities, responsibilities and deliverables

•Operational pricing for the market in NA, including price implementation under consideration of the pricing framework given by central global pricing

•Lead the pricing strategies definition in NA to ensure optimum competitiveness aligned with market needs, internal profitability targets and required positioning.

•Ensure RU GM through price adjustments; this involves actively engaging with different areas such as purchasing, sales, finance, marketing, category management, etc.

•Comply with central global pricing guidelines & processes

•Create transparency about NA pricing performance (SPV, Sales and margin development etc.)

•Monitoring and control of price compliance to price corridors & price harmonization

•Create documentation (instructions, guidelines, process descriptions, templates) of relevant processes (Tender, price rounds, price change process, etc.)

•Support NA Commercial Excellence initiatives deployment as needed.

Required skills and experience / main competencies

•Basic knowledge of SAP

•Understanding of the needs of both external and internal customers & the markets

•Good methodical and organizational skills

•Strong pricing, analytic & influencing skills

•Strong digital & analytics acumen

•Able to communicating technical concepts to non-technical audience

•Able to translate findings into clear actionable insights and recommendations

•Fostering collaboration & empowerment
